Suckle Creek Designs was born from the stories of a place that no longer exists — but still lives on through art. Every piece is hand-drawn by Joan, an Indigenous artist honoring her family’s journey and the land that shaped them.
From her home in Thunder Bay, she prints every design with care, celebrating heritage, creativity, and the strength passed down through generations.
Through every design, I’m keeping Suckle Creek alive not just the place, but the love, strength, and creativity my parents passed on to me.

Suckle Creek Designs was built on more than fabric and ink — it’s built on family, tradition, and the strength of storytelling. Every design reflects the values we live by and the legacy we hope to pass on.
To become a symbol of Indigenous creativity and resilience, where every garment keeps a story alive and empowers others to share their own.
To honour Indigenous heritage through original, wearable artwork — designed with meaning, printed with care, and rooted in community.
